Identifiers: Terminal Phase: Green or blue-green body. Blue to green markings around mouth and eye with a light bar on pectoral fin. May have yellow around the mouth and a stripe at the base of anal and dorsal fins. Initial Phase: Black to a dark gray body with a white stripe midbody.
Habitat: Marine coastal waters. Near reefs. Western Atlantic from Bermuda and Florida to Brazil.
