Sepioteuthis sepioidea – commonly known as a reef squid

Identifiers:  Mottled medium green to brown on their upper side with lighter coloring on their lower side, torpedo shaped body, two large eyes, 8 short arms and 2 long tentacles.

Habitat: Western Atlantic in the Caribbean Sea, Bermuda and off the coast of Florida. Shallow reefs.

Size: Up to 7.9 inches (20 cm) long

Food: Small fish, other mollusks and crustaceans 

Interesting Facts: Related to octopus and cuttlefish. They can control the pigment of their skin.
